The PETE NEVILLE Jazz Experience

Reminiscent of the cool jazz bands of the 1960’s, The Pete Neville Jazz Experience brings together some of the most experienced players on the Gold Coast. Their first LIVE gig – as an ensemble – at Dust Temple was extraordinary, nostalgic and a night of brilliant music making. Original compositions and clever arrangements influences by the iconic tunes of Wayne Shorter and Miles Davis, amongst others.

The Pete Neville Jazz Experience is an original jazz quintet that had it’s first gig some years back in Sydney introducing the Indie Rock audience of You Am I to great music inspired by jazz of the 60s. This new version of the band brings together a fine array of jazz improvisers from the Gold Coast area. .Featuring the brilliance of Martha Baartz (saxophones) and Dave Kemp (vibraphones), Alfredo Lopes (Saxophones), Liam Butler (Bass) and Pete Neville (drums).
