Alternator Poetry

Welcome again poets, scribes, truthseekers and warriors of wit, lyricists and pathological liars to Alternator Poetrys mic open for the recited word! A night of sharing thoughts and feelings in the formless to formful art of poetry in a warm and welcoming space that encourages all original works. This event will feature the fine words of Kalya Thomson Dudding

Kalya is a Kiwi writer, poet and storyteller who’s been living in and loving Australia for the last 5 years.

Her work is an hypnotic melting pot of rich imagery, mythic worlds, archetypal tales, cosmic conundrums and simple sweet poems on love and life.

Her charming ‘storytime for adults’ has awarded her First Place GC Poetry Slam, Peoples Choice Award at Nimbin Poetry World Cup and multiple performances at HOTA (Gold Coast Home of the Arts), and runner of a monthly poetry event on Tamborine Mountain.

She is currently working on her short novel in verse, a desert mystery called ‘The Scarabs Daughter’.
