Daniel Pap Exhibition Opening

Daniel Pap is an Australian artist inspired by Japanese designs and modern European art. Daniel created his own and very unique style by blending surrealism, art-deco, impressionism and cubism as well as his passion for traditional tattoo designs.

Ever since studying fine art in Brisbane, Daniel has always been fascinated by representational expressionism and surrealism. His investigation into these genres lead him to paint loosely. His works are versatile and include abstract to more refined and rendered art. Daniel’s preferred media are watercolour on paper, acrylic on wood and digital art. More recently he has also painted big murals using aerosol paint and denim jackets.

Moving forward in his art practices, this juxtaposition of stylistic approaches provides him with a healthy balance between his professional career as a tattoo artist and expressing himself as a painter with a social consciousness. Daniel exhibits his art regularly throughout Europe and Australia.
