Gimmy Flowens is the fresh solo adventure from Northern Rivers, NSW artist Gemma Owens. You may already be familiar with Owens as the lead singer and guitarist of charismatic garage-rock quartet, The Oogars. While this new solo venture is still bursting with the same kind of charm, there’s an added level of rawness and intimacy at play. Built on bluesy guitars, soft percussion and vulnerable lyricism. Gimmy wears her heart on her sleeve, delivering soulful melodies and real life observations.
