JB Paterson & Band – Springtime is Coming Tour supported by Anjali Oscine

Australian songwriter JB Paterson is heading out on a 20-date tour up and down the East Coast of Australia to celebrate his newly released album ‘Springtime is Coming’. He’ll be performing with his 6-piece band at The Dust Temple on the 19th May 2023. Supported by Anjali Oscine. Tickets are $30 online.

JB PATERSON JB Paterson is a roving blue-collar songwriter and producer. Inspired by traditional folk & blues music, appropriating ancient melodies with a strong focus on lyrics performed on guitar and piano. Compared to songwriters Neil Young, Townes Van Zandt and Bob Dylan.

JB recently achieved #1 Album of The Year by ‘Songpickr’ and landed a cover and 5 page spread in local music magazine ‘The Stew’. In late 2022 he signed to Holiday Maker Records and released his 3rd LP ‘Springtime is Coming’ to great response with heavy rotation on ABC Country and Double J.

JB has shared the stage with Mark Lanegan, Steve Kilbey (The Church), Darren Hanlon, Eilen Jewell, Gabriella Cohen, The Audreys, and many more.

ANJALI OSCINE Anjali Oscine is a Sunshine Coast based folk singing-songwriting chanteuse, originally hailing from regional Victoria. Her whimsical songwriting style is influenced by her deep affection for all living things, with songs inspired by colours, plants, and the natural way of things.

Her songs often depict feelings and knowings rather than direct storytelling. Her voice has been compared to Vashti Bunyan and Anne Briggs (although she wishes she sounded more like a butcherbird). She believes deeply in the healing power of music, and the natural, mellow tone of her voice invites the audience into a space where the weary mind is both soothed and delighted.
